In Dec, Alissa Firsova conducted the Camerata RCO (Members of Royal Concertgebouw) in her Le Soleil de Conques Op. 33 with solo cellists Rohan de Saram and Claudio Pasceri for the Union Musicale series in Turin. Her 2017 opens with a residency at the Brahms Haus Baden-Baden and she is looking forward to performing the Brahms 1st Piano Concerto with Tom Hammond and St. Albans Symphony on 6th May. After a series of successful concerts with the Tippett Quartet, where they premiered her Tennyson Fantasy Op. 36 and she joined them for the Dvorak Piano Quintet, they bring the programme to Haslemere Festival on 17th May and will be recording the work on Vivat for Alissa’s debut portrait composer disc.
